Self-Accountability

A key facet of the Self-care approach is the component self-accountability— defined as a proactive commitment to consistency and proper execution of activities aimed at pre-venting chronic health conditions, such as hand washing and dental hygiene. These primary acts fortify the wall of selfcare and reduces the need for secondary activities.

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITY ACTIVITIES:

  1. Health Insurance: Having adequate health insurance coverage for access to medical services.

  2. Regular Doctor Visits: Seeking regular consultations with healthcare professionals for preventive care.

  3. Medication Adherence: Taking prescribed medications as directed for chronic condition management.

  4. Vaccinations: Staying up-to-date with immunizations for protection against infectious diseases.
